LONDON - England midfielder Frank Lampard is expected to leave Chelsea.

Career Lampard, 34, along with the Blues come to an end after he was instructed to find a new team once the season transfer window opened Jan. 1, 2013.

"Lampard is very depressed," according to an internal resource-based club at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard received the shocking news before he detonated a goal from 25 meters and got a standing ovation from the fans at Stamford Bridge once led the team record 8-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League action on Sunday.

However, Lampard loyalty to Chelsea since he joined the club in 2001, 'is true' to cruelty.

During this period, he helped Chelsea win the Champions League trophy, three Premier League, four FA Cups and two League Cups.

Lampard original contract will expire next summer and he hopes his performance on the field to drive the club to continue the agreement.

Nevertheless, Chelsea tell Lampard that he can find another club before the match against Villa.

"Lampard has 'enslave themselves' to the club, especially the fans and he is happy to end his career at Stamford Bridge," the source said.

"After what he did to Chelsea, he has not believed in the club throw.

"Anyone looking at his performance against Aston Villa admits he should be in the starting team.

"Lampard is very professional as he is able to play well despite knowing the club will no longer need his services."
